Built on Hard Work
For Taylen Kendrick, operating heavy equipment has been a lifelong passion. When he was about two years old, his parents had a load of dirt delivered to their property, and he stood at the window fascinated by the equipment working outside. That fascination never went away.
Taylen grew up around equipment, first sitting on his papa's lap learning to operate skidders, excavators, and semis. He was never afraid of getting dirty or working hard. Even as a kid, work was often his favorite pastime.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Taylen also knew early that he wanted to build something of his own. By age 12, he was developing the business plan that would eventually become Bayside Land Services. He graduated from high school a year early in 2024, ready to put that plan into action.
Today, that childhood passion is Bayside Land Services, providing land clearing, forestry mulching, demolition, site preparation, driveway work, and other property services throughout Franklin and Gulf Counties.
Respect for the Land Comes With Knowing It
Taylen is a ninth-generation Floridian, and his connection to this part of Florida runs deeper than a service area on a map. This is home.
Taylen takes the time to understand what a property owner wants to accomplish and recommends the approach he believes is right for the land and its intended use.
Bayside isn't built around being the lowest-priced option. It's built around doing the job right.
That means using the right equipment, taking care around the parts of a property that need to remain, thinking beyond the quickest solution, and leaving behind work Bayside is proud to put its name on.

Bayside Land Services isn't simply a company that works in Franklin and Gulf Counties. This is the community Taylen calls home and the place where he's building his future.
Outside of Bayside, Taylen serves his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Eastpoint Volunteer Fire Department. Bayside is also a proud member of the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Carrabelle Area Chamber of Commerce.
For Taylen, being local means more than doing business here. It means being part of the community, taking care of the place he calls home, and building a business known for hard work, dependability, and doing things the right way.
